Clare is an AHPRA registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine and a PhD in Neuroscience. This unique combination allows her to research and understand many health-related conditions from different points of view.
Clare is particularly passionate about how Chinese and Western medicine may be used to complement each other. Continuous learning is a key pillar of her practice and she is committed to furthering her knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine and in Western medicine. In 2017 she undertook an internship in Taiwan, at the Tzu Chi Buddhist hospital, where she was able to gain inspiration for the effective integration of Chinese and Western medicine.
Clare is a sensitive, warm and caring practitioner, always trying her absolute best for her patients. In her treatments, she considers all facets of her patient’s health to develop an individualised treatment plan. Her gentle approach and compassionate nature sets her patients immediately at ease, allowing them to relax and enjoy their treatments.
Clare is interested in a wide range of conditions, from pain management and chronic illness, to autoimmune conditions and digestive disorders, sleep issues and stress relief, as well as all issues relating directly to women’s health. She is committed to helping people recover from illness and to assisting them maintain the best possible levels of health.
